Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure seeks a Senior Facilities Service Manager – Mechanical in Abilene, TX, to lead the onsite mechanical service and maintenance team responsible for safe operation of mission-critical cooling and HVAC systems supporting hyperscale data center operations.

Reporting to the Site Operations Director, you will manage Technicians, drive an in-house maintenance program, and ensure lifecycle maintenance aligns with reliability goals and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in HVAC, mechanical service, or critical facilities maintenance.
• 3–5+ years leading technicians or field maintenance teams.
• Experience with large-scale cooling systems, energy-performance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite mechanical facilities technician team for maintenance, troubleshooting, and service for cooling/HVAC systems.
• Directly manage Mechanical Facilities Technicians with leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Build and lead an in‑house self-perform maintenance program for mechanical systems.
• Oversee maintenance for chillers, CRAH/CRAC, pumps, towers, exchangers, piping, and controls interfaces.
• Manage vendors and contractors, enforcing SLAs and safety standards.
• Track system health, reliability, energy performance, and maintenance metrics to improve uptime.
• Own safety programs, regulatory compliance, and technician training related to maintenance.
• Support incident response, capacity changes, and post-event reviews to strengthen reliability.
• Partner with Facility Managers, Engineering, Reliability, and Construction for handoffs and readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance procedures and spare parts readiness.
