Job summary

Dahl Consulting is seeking a Customer Service Representative for an on-site, contract-based role in Rigby, ID. You will assist customers, dealers and end users via phone, email and chat, handling orders, warranties, returns and general inquiries. Ensure timely issue resolution while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

The role requires problem-solving, strong communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to extend based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience in a phone-based, in-person, or customer-facing environment.
• Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute (WPM).
• Experience using multi-line phone systems or working in a call center environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and retain product knowledge quickly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and timely manner.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for product, technical, ordering, warranty, return, and exchange questions.
• Assist customers by providing product information and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Create and maintain customer accounts and accurately update customer records.
• Resolve customer concerns by identifying issues, determining appropriate solutions, and ensuring successful follow-up.
• Process and manage customer orders, including order entry, confirmations, scheduling, adjustments, and fulfillment coordination.
• Manage workflow effectively while meeting customer expectations and delivery deadlines.
• Handle escalated or challenging customer interactions using professionalism and de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Develop and maintain working knowledge of products, policies, systems, and service procedures.
• Analyze customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve service and customer satisfaction.
• Support internal teams and contribute to departmental goals and process improvements.
• Provide occasional showroom support when business needs require additional coverage.
• Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.
