Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a full-time customer service representative to join our Fontana service center. This onsite role supports the sales team and customers, with hours 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, in Fontana, CA.

You will handle inquiries, process quotes and orders, source parts, and assist in driving sales while supporting the stockroom and delivering orders as needed. A 1+ year CS/inside sales background and basic Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year customer service or inside sales experience.
• Bearings or power transmission knowledge is a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude. Basic computer skills including Excel.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, and returns.
• Source parts and assist in generating sales.
• Support the stockroom and deliver orders as needed.
