Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Fontana, CA is hiring a full-time customer service representative (CSR) to support our sales team and customers onsite. Hours are 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You will handle inquiries, quotes, orders, sourcing parts, and build lasting relationships with customers. Qualifications include 1+ year in customer service or inside sales, strong communication, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year customer service or inside sales experience.
• Bearings or power transmission knowledge preferred.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, sense of humor.
• Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude. Basic computer skills including Excel.
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR).
• This position is on site and not eligible for relocation benefits.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and Account Manager to find products and services.
• Handle customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting and returns.
• Source parts and assist in generating sales.
• Help in the stockroom and deliver orders to customers as needed.
