Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time customer service representative to work on site in Tulare. You will provide professional, timely support to our sales team and customers, handling inquiries, quotes, orders, and returns while sourcing parts and contributing to sales generation.

The role requires 1+ year of customer service or inside sales experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service or inside sales experience, preferably in industrial distribution.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multitask.
• Written and verbal communication skills with good English grammar.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate computer tools including Excel.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting and returns.
• Source parts and assist in generating sales.
• Assist in stockroom duties and deliver orders to customers as needed.
