Job summary

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is seeking a full-time Contact Center Associate I for our Columbus, Ohio location. You’ll be part of a company built on long-term growth and strong values.

In this role, you’ll handle high call volumes, provide accurate information to sales reps, customers, and internal staff, and support order entry. This onsite position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in call center or customer service preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally in writing and speech.
• Must be able to work in Columbus, OH office (not remote).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service for sales reps, customers, and internal staff.
• Adhere to company scripts, policies and quality standards.
• Handle high call volume and multitask effectively.
• Provide accurate information regarding products, services, policies and procedures.
• Resolve customer issues and escalate complex cases as needed.
• Enter orders via phone according to company parameters and assist with special orders.
• Maintain monthly call tracking and quarterly time tracking.
• Respond to voicemails, emails, and Teams messages the same day during working hours.
