Job summary

APTEAN in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Customer Technical Lead, AI to join our onsite team. You will own the end-to-end testing and deployment of AI agents for customer deployments, ensuring the solution is built, validated and launched per the Agent Blueprint.

You’ll collaborate with Solutions Consulting, Engineering and Customer Success to hand off smoothly at go-live, and you’ll serve as the technical escalation point after launch.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical implementation, deployment or solutions engineering.
• Experience with AI agents and Large Language Models.
• Familiarity with APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Understanding of SQL for data querying and agent tool design.
• Exposure to MCP servers or similar agent-tool frameworks.
• Experience with structured testing methodologies (functional, integration, UAT).
• Awareness of agent observability, monitoring and reliability practices.
• Strong documentation habits and deployment handoff artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Own the testing and deployment of AI agents from blueprint handoff to go-live.
• Validate agent configurations, integrations and tool connections per blueprint.
• Troubleshoot issues during build, testing and deployment.
• Partner with Solutions Consultants during sales-to-delivery handoff.
• Coordinate with product and engineering to escalate platform-level issues.
• Conduct structured testing cycles prior to go-live.
• Document deployment steps, configurations and known issues.
• Partner with Customer Success to ensure a smooth handoff at go-live and post-launch support.
• Serve as a technical escalation point after go-live.
