Job summary

Aptean is seeking a Customer Technical Lead, AI to join onsite in Alpharetta, GA. You will own the testing and deployment of AI agents, validating configurations and integrations to ensure go-live success for customers.

You will collaborate with Solutions Consulting, engineering, and Customer Success to deliver a smooth handoff, resolve platform issues, and ensure adoption and future renewal opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing, deploying, or Solutions Engineering for ERP/SaaS/enterprise software.
• Familiarity with AI agents and Large Language Models, including design, orchestration, deployment.
• Knowledge of APIs and how AI systems integrate with enterprise platforms.
• Understanding SQL for data querying and agent tool design.
• Exposure to agent-tool integration frameworks e.g. MCP servers.
• Experience with structured testing methodologies (functional, integration, UAT).
• Awareness of agent observability, monitoring, and reliability practices.
• Strong documentation habits and producing deployment or handoff artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical testing and deployment of AI agents for assigned customer accounts, from blueprint handoff through go-live
• Validate agent configurations, integrations, and tool connections against the Agent Blueprint and customer requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during build, testing, and deployment
• Partner with Solutions Consultants during sales-to-delivery handoff to understand the scoped solution and customer expectations
• Coordinate with product and engineering teams to escalate and resolve platform-level issues affecting deployment
• Conduct structured testing cycles, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing, prior to go-live
• Document deployment steps, configurations, and known issues to support ongoing supportability of the solution
• Partner with the Customer Success Manager to ensure a smooth handoff at go-live, transferring technical context for post-launch adoption, expansion, and renewal conversations
• Serve as a technical escalation point for issues that surface shortly after go-live
