Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Asheville, NC is seeking a Custom Order Engineer (MVCA 1st Shift) to provide electrical and mechanical design and documentation support for power distribution products. The role is onsite Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

You will collaborate with application engineers and manufacturing teams, develop complex drawings, manage changes, and help ensure timely, accurate equipment releases. The expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000-$85,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 internship/Co-op or 3 months related experience.
• Resides within 50 miles of Asheville, NC facility; no relocation benefits.
• No immigration sponsorship for CPT/OPT or visa programs.

Responsibilities

• Consult with plant and field engineers to interpret new equipment applications.
• Develop complex drawings and BOMs detailing purchaser’s equipment.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with products.
• Advise on information for accurate production per purchaser’s requirements.
• Manage purchaser onsite visits to approve equipment for shipping.
• Lead manufacturing and engineering change notices.
