The role focuses on electrical and mechanical design and documentation for power distribution products, leveraging AutoCAD, MAPICS, and Design Automation to produce manufacturing docs.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, internship or relevant experience, and proximity to Asheville. Salary range is $71,000–$85,000 with no relocation benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Internship, co-op, or 3 months related experience required.
• Relocation not offered; reside within 50 miles of Asheville, NC.
• E1: Employer does not sponsor immigration.
• Ability to interpret and define new equipment applications.

Responsibilities

• Consult with plant and field sales engineers to interpret and define new equipment applications.
• Develop complex drawings and bills-of-materials with detailed info for purchaser’s equipment application.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products.
• Manage purchaser onsite visits to approve/release equipment for shipping.
• Provide technical training and seminars as required.
