Job summary

Eaton Corporation's ARS PDCA division seeks a Custom Order Designer to provide mechanical design and documentation support for the Low Voltage Motor Control Center product line at the Fayetteville, NC facility.

In this onsite role, you will collaborate with application engineers and manufacturing teams, use design automation tools, and produce manufacturing documentation while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

HS diploma/GED with 5+ years experience or AS/BS in related engineering.
Experience using CAD software to create engineered drawings for MCCs.
US work authorization; no immigration sponsorship; within 75 miles of Fayetteville, NC.

Responsibilities

Analyze schematics to determine mechanical design requirements and layouts.
Manage Manufacturing and Engineering Change Notices.
Learn and apply software such as Bid Manager, AutoCAD, Design Automation, MAPICS.
Interpret work packages to develop mechanical design and manufacturing info.
Coordinate across org levels to meet schedules.
Conduct thorough BOM reviews for accuracy.
Handle multiple projects and duties simultaneously.
Maintain compliance with ISO 9000-2000, ISO 14001 and related programs.
Support Eaton programs like EBS and MESH.
