Job summary

SimIS, Inc. is seeking a Counter-Drone & Counter-IED Analyst to support the development of Counter-Uncrewed Systems and Counter-IED products across DOTMLPFI, engaging with C-UXS/C-IED stakeholders from strategic to tactical levels.

The role requires 10 years in C-UXS/C-IED, 5-10 years in programme/project management in military contexts, and experience briefing senior leaders; PMP certification is desirable. Onsite work with benefits and a focus on interoperability is provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, information systems, aeronautics, operations research, project management, business administration or related disciplines.
• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience acceptable.
• Ten (10) years of experience in C-UXS/C-IED functions at Tactical, Operational, or Strategic levels.
• 5-10 years of Programme/Project Management experience within a complex environment; PMP certification is desirable.
• 5-10 years of multinational organization experience and familiarity with NATO agencies’ role in system development.
• 5-10 years of experience briefing senior leaders/decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Support C-UXS/C-IED related projects (e.g. ACT Layered C-UAS Initiative-X /LCI-X Beacon Project) as required by JE Capabilities Programme Director and the COTR.
• Support elicitation, capture, development, analysis, evaluation and traceability of capability requirements.
• Support elicitation, capture, development, analysis, evaluation and traceability of higher and lower-level requirements across DOTMLPFI.
• Support development, analysis and review of C-UXS/C-IED related doctrinal corpus (policies, doctrines, directives concepts of operation/employment, courses of action).
• Coordinate DOTMLPFI development and implementation synchronization; support recommended courses of action to resolve issues relating to capability development across lifecycles.
