Job summary

Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician in California to install, repair, and maintain conveyance systems at customer sites. You will perform on-site belt installations, splicing, preventive maintenance, and occasional emergency repairs, with shop fabrication of belts and rigging assistance.

The role requires a technical degree and up to three years of related experience, strong math and measurement skills, and excellent communication for customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Technical degree and 0–3 years related experience.
• Ability to read measuring instruments and perform basic math.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-facing work experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain conveyor belts and related equipment on-site.
• Fabricate belts in shop and perform rigging for lifting belt rolls and tooling.
• Provide on-site technical support and training to customers.
• Work 24/7 on-call for emergencies.
