Job summary

Motion Industries, Inc. is seeking Field Service Technicians for MI Conveyance Solutions. You will perform on-site belt installation, splicing, maintenance, and repairs on conveyor systems, working with bearings, pulleys, motors, and gearboxes.

The role requires a technical degree with 0–3 years experience, strong math/reading measurements, and safe operation of shop equipment. You may operate manlifts and forklifts and drive company vehicles; DOT preferred.

Qualifications

• Read measuring and equipment markings.
• Basic math for measurements and tolerances.
• Operate shop equipment safely and correctly.
• Train to operate manlifts and forklifts; follow DoT and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Install and splice belts on-site; perform preventative maintenance.
• Repair and upgrade conveyor components (bearings, pulleys, motors, gearboxes).
• Diagnose problems; document findings and parts needed.
• Communicate with customers and ensure satisfaction on site.
