Job summary

USA MOT Motion Industries, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician for MI Conveyance Solutions. On-site belt installation, splicing, and preventative maintenance are core duties, with occasional emergency callouts.

You will work with conveyor systems, bearings, pulleys, and motors while maintaining safety and quality at customer sites. Candidates typically have a technical degree and up to three years of related experience.

Qualifications

Typically requires a technical degree and 0 to 3 years of related experience.
Ability to read measuring equipment and perform basic math.
Ability to operate shop equipment safely and to operate manlifts and forklifts.
Excellent communication skills to work with customers, peers, and management.
Willingness to drive company vehicles; DOT preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site belt installation, splicing, and preventative maintenance, including call-outs for emergencies.
Fabricate belts in shop and assist with rigging to move belt rolls and tooling.
Diagnose equipment problems, document findings, and decide on repairs or part replacement.
Provide technical support and training to customers on system equipment.
Maintain safety and regulatory compliance on site and during service visits.
Communicate with customers and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and alert on issues.
