Job summary

Mondelēz International in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Automation and Controls Engineer to provide automation and controls support for the Clif Bar Plant. The role focuses on safe, reliable manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.

You will mentor technicians, drive improvement initiatives, and manage PLC/HMI programming and documentation. This onsite position requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5 years of automation experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of automation and controls experience in a production facility.
• Experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior technicians.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance system reliability and standardization across automation platforms.
• Manage modification and optimization of instrumentation and control systems including PLCs and HMIs.
• Develop and maintain As-Built Electrical, Controls, and Process Drawings; documentation control.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local engineering codes and regulations.
