Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. is hiring for an on-site Electrical/Controls Engineer to drive productivity, quality, and capacity in our Wisconsin facility.

You will lead electrical automation projects, train maintenance teams, and manage contractors to optimize control systems and data reporting. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years in electrical control engineering, with proficiency in PLCs, SCADA, and electrical drawings.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3+ years in electrical control systems programming, design, power distribution, PM, and equipment installs.
Experience with NEC/NFPA70E basics.
Strong problem solving and ability to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Proficient in reading electrical drawings and in automation programming.
Effective communication to discuss technical issues in a business setting.

Responsibilities

Execute electrical, instrumentation, and controls projects with cost, schedule, and performance commitments.
Coach maintenance staff on electrical automation topics.
Oversee performance of electrical and engineering contractors.
Improve production efficiency and uptime through controls optimization.
Monitor plant control systems (network health, controller function, obsolescence).
Develop SCADA/HMI/MES and data reporting solutions for performance improvements.
Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality Plans and customer requirements.
Interpret customer requirements for production and support teams.
