Job summary

The TemPositions Group in White Plains, NY is seeking an experienced Controller to own the accounting function from end to end, onsite. This hands-on role requires leading general ledger, close processes, and implementing ASC 606 revenue recognition.

You will work directly with leadership to improve controls and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting using Intuit Enterprise Suite/QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or senior-level accounting experience.
• Strong ASC 606 and revenue recognition expertise.
• Experience transitioning from cash-basis to accrual accounting.
• Hands-on with Intuit Enterprise Suite / QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the company’s accounting function while reporting to CFO.
• Manage all aspects of the general ledger, month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Implement and manage ASC 606 revenue recognition processes.
• Lead the transition from cash-basis to accrual accounting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, schedules, and management reports.
• Work directly within Intuit Enterprise Suite / QuickBooks Online.
• Collaborate with leadership on financial matters and internal controls.
