Job summary

Mechanics Bank seeks a Contracts Manager to partner with the Bank's teams to define contract requirements, draft agreements, and manage negotiations, amendments, and terminations, ensuring compliance with policies and laws. This is an on-site role supporting vendor relationships.

You will monitor SLAs, maintain contract records, prepare reports, and advise management on risk. Travel up to 25% is required; strong MS Office, Excel, and contract management systems skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 year Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience in contract lifecycle management and vendor relations.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and Excel.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures contract terms address primary business risk areas and align with bank policies.
• Synthesize perspectives and document decisions, risks and concessions.
• Maintain status of vendor contracts and manage lifecycle milestones (SLAs, renewals, terminations).
• Provide guidance on Service Level Agreements and remedies in contracts.
• Negotiate terms within policy parameters while ensuring compliance.
• Prepare reports and data to maintain accurate contract records and relationships.
• Travel required: 10–20%.
