Job summary

The Judge Group in Boston, MA or New York, NY is seeking an experienced Contract Manager for a hybrid role (2-3 days onsite per week). The position supports a high-volume investment vendor management team over a 6-month engagement with potential extension.

You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with third-party service providers supporting investment operations, market data, fund administration, technology, and managed services.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Contract Management, Procurement, Legal Operations, or Vendor Management.
• Experience negotiating commercial contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, and third-party vendor agreements.
• Experience within Investment Management, Asset Management, Financial Services, Fund Administration, or Insurance Investment Operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent contracts and stakeholder groups.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, amendments, data privacy agreements, and information security agreements.
• Partner with business stakeholders, procurement, legal, risk, and security teams to drive contracts from initiation through execution.
• Manage contract renewals, vendor negotiations, performance issues, invoicing disputes, and service-level concerns.
• Maintain contract repositories, track key milestones, renewal dates, spend commitments, and vendor obligations.
• Monitor software licensing, market data subscriptions, API usage, and consumption-based agreements to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support vendor relationship management and ensure contracts align with operational and business requirements.

• Experience with investment data providers and platforms such as Bloomberg, MSCI, S&P Global, Dow Jones, JP Morgan Data, AlphaSense, PitchBook, Morningstar, Wall Street Office, or eFront.
• Experience supporting alternative investments, private equity, hedge funds, or asset management organizations.
• Knowledge of software licensing, market data contracts, and consumption-based pricing models.
• Familiarity with regulatory, information security, and third-party risk requirements within financial services.

Ideal Background

Candidates from organizations such as asset managers, investment firms, private equity firms, fund administrators, or investment operations teams will be highly preferred.
