Job summary

Z Modular in Greater Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead on-site activities for ground-up multifamily modular construction. You will manage subcontractors, develop detailed work plans, and ensure schedules and budgets are met with a strong focus on safety and quality.

The role requires a seasoned leader with deep construction knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on ground-up commercial and multifamily projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in interpreting drawings, specifications, and project documents; OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all site activities, including subcontractor coordination and engagement with municipal authorities.
• Develop and maintain detailed work plans, sequencing strategies, laydown plans, and temporary facilities.
• Create and manage comprehensive schedules for subcontractors aligned with project timelines.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets; conduct daily on-site meetings with crews and foremen.
• Ensure site safety and regulatory compliance; liaise with inspection authorities for approvals.
