Job summary

Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Site Superintendent to lead on-site activities for ground-up multifamily modular construction in the Greater Phoenix area. You will coordinate with subcontractors, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to plans and budgets.

Ideal candidates have a strong leadership background, extensive site management experience, and proficiency with Procore and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on ground-up commercial/multifamily projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Ability to interpret and execute construction drawings and specifications with accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, scheduling software, and CAE/CAD applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site activities and coordinate with subcontractors and authorities to ensure safety and compliance.
• Develop and maintain detailed work plans, sequences, laydown plans, and temporary facilities.
• Create and manage schedules for subcontractors aligned with project timelines.
• Review project plans, specs, and data to ensure adherence and quality.
• Conduct pre-construction planning and manage three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Lead daily on-site meetings with subcontractors, foremen, and team leads.
