Job summary

McKenney's Inc. seeks a Project Safety Coordinator to support the field safety team in implementing accident prevention, fire protection, and compliance with safety regulations across projects.

You will conduct site inspections, lead pre-task planning, and coordinate with Safety Manager to execute the safety strategy, reporting findings and facilitating corrective actions. This role requires OSHA certifications and a strong track record in construction safety, with travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field experience in construction safety.
• OSHA 500/510 certification.
• Knowledge of federal/state OSHA regulations.
• High school diploma or GED (required).

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily safety huddles and site safety planning.
• Inspect job sites and report hazards and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Safety Manager to align safety strategy.
• Prepare incident reports and root cause analyses.
• Ensure compliance with client and state/federal safety regulations.
