Job summary

McKenney’s is seeking a field safety professional to support project safety accountability, accident and fire protection programs, and full compliance with safety regulations across our construction sites.

Required: 3+ years of field safety experience, OSHA 500, and a high school diploma or GED; basic knowledge of construction OSHA; preferred: 5 years of mechanical contractor experience. This role collaborates with the Safety Manager to prevent hazards and improve safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of field safety experience in project safety.
• Minimum OSHA 500 certification.
• High school diploma or GED and basic understanding of construction OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Support safety accountability programs and compliance across sites.
• Conduct site inspections and report hazards or risks.
• Lead incident reporting and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate safety training and required certifications with teams.
• Partner with Safety Manager and project leadership to implement safety plans.
• Attend safety meetings and participate in preplanning activities.
