Job summary

Rycon Construction in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator for an onsite role. You will work with office leadership to enhance safety culture, perform site safety inspections, and conduct both in-person and virtual training to ensure OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities include safety pre-planning with Operations/Estimating, attending project meetings, and developing new training programs. This position requires travel as needed and preference for bilingual candidates.

Qualifications

• College degree in a safety-related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in construction safety.
• Ability to travel overnight as needed.
• Bilingual is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work hand in hand with office leadership to develop the safety culture.
• Perform safety inspections and audits on project sites.
• Conduct in-person and virtual safety training and orientations.
• Safety pre-planning and lookaheads with Operations and Estimating teams.
• Participation in project meetings.
• Ensuring subcontractors comply with OSHA regulations and training requirements.
• Authoring project-specific safety plans.
• Developing and implementing new training programs.
