Job summary

Rycon Construction seeks an experienced Safety Manager for our Dallas office. This full-time, onsite role supports multiple projects across the Dallas region, championing a proactive safety culture and ensuring OSHA compliance on commercial construction sites, including data center and mission-critical facilities.

You will lead safety programs, conduct site inspections and audits, investigate incidents, develop site-specific safety plans, and deliver training.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction safety experience, preferably commercial.
• Experience supporting data center and mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk management principles.
• Experience conducting safety audits, incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective action planning.
• Ability to influence and engage employees, subcontractors, and leadership in maintaining safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive safety culture with organizational leadership.
• Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Lead accident and incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain project-specific safety and site logistics plans and risk mitigation strategies.
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training programs for employees and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with Operations, Estimating, and Preconstruction on safety planning and risk reviews.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with safety requirements and site plans.
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, audits, training records, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement new safety initiatives and track safety metrics for leadership.
