Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout in Sioux Falls, SD. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of PM experience, strong reading of construction documents, and excellent communication skills. This is an in-person, on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
• Proven experience managing projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction documents.
• Experience preparing and managing change orders.
• Excellent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop and track project budgets to align with goals.
• Create and update project schedules with milestones.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and quality workmanship.
• Manage client relationships and provide regular updates.
• Review and manage construction documents to ensure alignment with plans.
• Prepare and process change orders with proper approvals.
• Collaborate with estimators and project engineers on planning.
• Oversee meetings, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure safety standards and codes are followed.
• Support project closeout activities and turnover documentation.
