Job summary

Global Power Components seeks an Associate Construction Project Manager to act as on-site representative for active construction projects. You will monitor progress, coordinate contractors, document issues, and ensure safety and timely completion on-site in Milwaukee.

Responsibilities include daily monitoring, scheduling support, progress reporting, and enforcing quality and safety on all sites. Travel between Milwaukee locations and read blueprints are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction, facilities, or project coordination experience.
• Able to read construction drawings and blueprints.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willing to travel between Milwaukee-area locations.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite company representative during construction activities.
• Monitor daily project activities and contractor performance.
• Ensure work aligns with project schedules and plans.
• Conduct site walkthroughs and document progress.
• Verify quality and identify deficiencies.
• Coordinate access, logistics, and communication with contractors.
• Escalate delays, safety concerns, quality issues, and budget impacts.
• Assist with scheduling, documentation, reporting, and coordination.
• Review drawings to ensure requirements are followed.
• Support meetings, punch lists, and closeout.
• Maintain accurate project records and progress reports.
• Promote safe work practices on all sites.
