Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Associate Construction Project Manager to serve as the onsite company representative during construction activities. You will monitor daily project activities, contractor performance, and progress against schedules while ensuring work adheres to plans and safety standards.

You will review drawings, coordinate access and logistics, escalate issues, support scheduling, documentation, and project closeout, and maintain thorough progress

Qualifications

• 2+ years in construction, facilities, or project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Milwaukee-area locations.
• Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, or trades.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure requirements are followed.
• Support project meetings, punch list activities, and project closeout efforts.
• Maintain accurate project records, photographs, and progress reports.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices on all job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the onsite company representative during construction activities.

Qualifications:

• Required: 2+ years of construction, facilities, or project coordination experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in the field.
• Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, or tradespeople.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between Milwaukee-area locations.
• Preferred: Experience in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing construction environments.
• Associate degree or coursework in Construction Management or a related field.OSHA safety training.
• Experience using project management or scheduling software.
