Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Project Commissioning Assistant to support project managers and engineering teams in Milwaukee, with onsite duties 5 days a week.

You will coordinate witness tests, track deficiencies, and ensure safety while assisting customers and preparing daily project reports. Ideal candidates have manufacturing exposure, electrical theory familiarity, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Must have proven customer service or relations experience.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to safety protocols.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; electrical theory background preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Managers on upcoming witness tests and durations.
• Follow up with testers and engineering to note deficiencies and fix issues.
• Identify safety hazards during customer tests and mitigate risks.
• Accompany customers during witness tests and control access to units.
• Maintain safety measures and address customer questions or concerns.
• Create daily reports of issues for PMs and Engineering; travel between Milwaukee facilities.
