Job summary

Next150 Construction Services, LLC is seeking a Construction Project Engineer II to support the project team on-site in Arlington, VA, with occasional travel to the office for trainings. The role focuses on coordinating information, maintaining logs, and driving CPM-based schedules to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will work closely with Project Managers and Executives, gaining exposure to field operations and contract documents.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field.
• 3+ years with a large trade contractor, construction management or general contractor organization.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and distribute all project information with the Project Manager.
• Maintain contract document logs in real time.
• Prepare and present status reports on RFIs, submittals and other documents.
• Write effective scopes of work for bid packages.
• Issue Requests for Quotations and follow up with Trade Contractors and vendors.
• Update project schedules with CPM techniques.
• Document field quality activities.
• Prepare change management reports and cost documents.
• Establish and maintain project quality files and documentation systems.
• Develop industry relationships to generate opportunities for Next150.
