Job summary

HITT Contracting is launching a Commercial Construction Project Engineer program in California. The 12-month, on-site Futures Program provides hands-on learning with mentorship, setting up a path to assistant project manager or superintendent upon completion.

Participants shadow experienced leaders, manage day-to-day project operations, and develop skills in scheduling, budgeting, and coordination while embracing HITT’s safety culture and company values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher requested.
• Degree or military experience preferred for construction roles.
• On-site construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and learn daily operations on a live project.
• Maintain project records, logs, and reports.
• Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and coordination tasks.
