Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in our Operations department to support the execution and management of construction projects. You will prepare reports, maintain documentation, and coordinate with the project team and subcontractors onsite.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will work under the Project Manager and may commute to various job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, or 2 years of related field experience via internships or industry employment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability in utilizing a wide range of computer software.
• Engineer-in-training certification, Journeyman license, and field experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to project stakeholders.
• Assist with execution and management of project needs and documentation.
• Prepare and present computer-generated spreadsheets and reports.
• Maintain regular communication with the project team and subcontractors.
• Generate, maintain, and facilitate project documentation for all project phases.
• Perform material take offs from drawings to help generate estimates and changes.
