Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for one of our onsite projects in the Greater Los Angeles area, located in Los Alamitos, CA.

You will assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating field activities to keep the construction path smooth. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience in construction environments, and the ability to resolve field issues promptly.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years’ related experience desirable.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of the construction industry and documentation desirable.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager in planning, scheduling, budgeting and coordination of field activities.
• Review contract and bid documents; understand scope for project turnover and attend walkthroughs.
• Assist with project document control (insurance, permits, submittals, RFI’s, change orders, etc.).
• Assist field personnel in closeout of project and obtain as-builts/CAD as needed.
