Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Construction Accounting Coordinator / Project Accountant to support active construction and development projects onsite in Woodland Hills, CA. This temp-to-hire role focuses on project accounting activities, including cost tracking and invoicing.

You will work with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors, use Yardi and Excel, and bring 2–3 years of construction or real estate accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Yardi experience required.
• Construction/Real Estate industry experience required.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Woodland Hills, CA.

Responsibilities

• Support project accounting, including invoice processing, cost tracking, and reconciliations.
• Assist with construction draws, ensuring invoicing, subcontractor docs, and project expenses are organized.
• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve documentation issues.
• Utilize Yardi and Excel to maintain data, generate reports, and support financial analysis.
• Bring 2-3 years of construction or real estate accounting experience.
