Job summary

Segrera Associates is seeking a Project Accountant in Miami to support a growing portfolio of development and construction projects. You will handle project accounting, cost tracking, and GL entries while coordinating with project managers, finance, and lenders.

Candidates should have 2+ years of project accounting experience within real estate development, construction, or similar settings; Yardi experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project accounting experience in real estate development, construction, homebuilding, or similar.
• Experience with project cost reconciliations and construction draw packages.
• Familiarity with real estate/construction accounting systems like Yardi is a plus.

I'm working with a well-established real estate organization looking to hire a Project Accountant to support its growing portfolio of development and construction projects.

This role will handle project accounting, job cost reconciliations, construction draw packages, budget-to-actual reporting, project cost tracking, and general ledger accounting, while partnering closely with project managers, finance, and external lenders. Candidates with 2+ years of project accounting experience within real estate development, construction, homebuilding, or another project-based environment will be considered.

Experience with Yardi or another real estate/construction accounting system is a plus.
