Quanta Government Solutions is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities at Rock Island Arsenal, IL for a USACE project. The role requires coordinating multiple operating companies and subcontractors to deliver power generation, energy storage, and associated civil and electrical works on a live Army installation.

Qualifications

• USACE experience on USACE projects, with EM 385-1-1 knowledge and RMS familiarity.
• On-site availability full time at Rock Island Arsenal, IL.
• Experience leading multi-company field teams on active federal installations.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, site logistics, and look-ahead planning.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS contract requirements.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the on-site superintendent and direct the work to keep QGS satisfactory to the Contracting Officer.
• Direct field operations, oversee operating company crews and subcontractors to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Integrate work across electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, and commissioning scopes into a coordinated field plan.
• Lead and participate in safety programs, enforce EM 385-1-1 and the Accident Prevention Plan.
• Provide field input to the Primavera P6 schedule and lead look-ahead planning with teams.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, changes, and ensure field changes are aligned with Government requirements.
• Coordinate site access, outages, and utility tie-ins with Government representatives.
