Job summary

RMS Construction LLC seeks a Construction Superintendent to manage a single site, ensuring timely, quality completion by directing laborers, subcontractors, and third parties. The role reports to the VP, Construction or Senior PM on a project-by-project basis.

You will oversee day-to-day site activities, monitor progress, coordinate with inspectors, and liaise with the central office for admin tasks while maintaining customer service standards at the job site.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management or related field.
• Familiar with project lifecycle and industry standards.
• Proficient with construction management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope of work for site or project component.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of all on site staff.
• Address issues with VP Construction or Senior PM.
• Ensure laborers and subcontractors perform at high quality.
• Review invoices for accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor work against the project schedule.
• Recommend vendors, subcontractors, and scope changes.
• Ensure accurate time reporting for payroll.
• Coordinate with inspectors and central office for administrative tasks.
• Execute construction work on site when required.
