Job summary

SteerBridge, Inc. in Muskogee, OK is seeking a Construction Manager – Construction Administrator (CM-CA) to provide onsite construction management for VA healthcare facility upgrades.

This full-time, onsite role requires coordination with COR, review of submittals, RFIs, schedules, and commissioning support to minimize disruption to patient care. The ideal candidate has a construction management/engineering background and at least 3 years of relevant experience, knowledge of VA design criteria,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture or 3 years related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of construction experience with QA, safety, schedule and cost management.
• Experience identifying construction deficiencies and presenting three similar projects.
• Knowledge of building systems for commercial, institutional, or healthcare facilities.
• Ability to read construction documents and communicate with project team members.
• Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust Clearance and favorable NACI; US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Contractor’s authorized POC with the COR for assigned projects.
• Provide onsite construction management and oversight through all project phases.
• Coordinate submittal reviews and ensure timely stakeholder feedback.
• Review RFIs and monitor project schedules and milestones.
• Conduct daily field inspections and identify non-conforming work.
• Assist in the creation/update of as-built drawings and closeout submittals.
• Support commissioning activities and cost management during construction.
