Job summary

CrestCura Energy Services is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to serve as the primary onsite leader for utility-scale PV and BESS projects. This role will oversee daily onsite operations, monitor the EPC contractor’s activities, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, schedule expectations, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or Construction Management or related field.
• 4+ years supervising utility-scale solar PV or BESS construction and commissioning.
• Deep understanding of PV and BESS construction means, electrical installations, civil site prep, and mechanical racking/tracker assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Onsite Leadership: provide daily oversight of construction activities on assigned utility-scale PV or BESS projects.
• EPC Oversight: monitor daily progress, manpower tracking, and adherence to project schedule.
• Dispute Resolution: resolve onsite disputes between contractors, subs, and vendors.
• Quality & Compliance: verify construction meets design specs, QA/QC standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Safety Champion: enforce Site-Specific Safety Plans and OSHA standards; participate in daily safety meetings.
• Risk mitigation: identify and mitigate technical, contractual, and commercial risks.
• Field Engineering Support: manage RFIs, submittals, and field change directives.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: provide daily logs, progress photos, and early warnings to offsite PM.
• Commissioning Handoff: oversee transition to testing and commissioning with OEMs.
