Job summary

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site electrical utility, renewable energy, BESS, or high-voltage substation construction projects from planning through commissioning.

You will oversee field teams, coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget, while enforcing QA/QC and OSHA/NFPA 70E standards. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and a proven

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience managing electrical utility, renewable energy, BESS, or high-voltage substation construction projects.
• OSHA 10 and NFPA 70E certification required; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer-facing role.
• Proficiency with scheduling, project controls, safety programs, and quality management.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and field construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure safe, efficient, and successful project execution.
• Develop and execute project construction plans in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Monitor and report project productivity, schedule performance, and workforce utilization.
• Maintain project records, prepare required reports, and lead project meetings.
• Facilitate turnover, commissioning, punch list, and project closeout activities.
• Provide safety leadership and ensure compliance with OSHA and contract requirements.
