Job summary

We are seeking an experienced HSE Construction Supervisor / Site Safety Manager to support a construction project in Phoenix, AZ. This individual will serve as the onsite Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) lead, ensuring compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and project-specific safety requirements while promoting a strong Zero Harm culture.

Qualifications

5-7 years of HSE experience focusing on construction safety.
Minimum 3 years in an HSE supervisory or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 standards.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required.
Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Champion the Zero Harm safety culture and maintain a strong safety program.
Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Construction Site HSE Plans.
Ensure compliance with company, client, regulatory, and project HSE requirements.
Supervise junior HSE staff and oversee contractor safety personnel.
Conduct daily site inspections, audits, and safety walkdowns.
Monitor contractor activities for OSHA and HSE compliance.
Lead weekly safety meetings and HSE reviews.
Administer safe work permit programs (Confined Space, LOTO, Excavation).
Support incident investigations and root cause analyses.
Prepare monthly HSE reports for project and leadership.
