Job summary

Haydon seeks a Safety Manager to lead EHS across construction projects in the Phoenix area. You will partner with Operations leadership to embed safety into planning, identify hazards, and drive continuous improvement on site.

Responsibilities include mentoring Safety staff, investigating incidents, and guiding risk controls while promoting a strong safety culture across multiple projects and markets. Travel to active sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of construction and safety experience.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible construction safety experience.
• Experience independently managing safety performance for large, complex, or multiple construction projects.
• Strong communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior EHS representative for assigned projects or operational areas.
• Partner with Project Leaders to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
• Identify hazards and develop practical risk mitigation strategies.
• Mentor Safety personnel and promote consistent EHS practices across projects.
• Investigate incidents and lead corrective action plans.
• Support company-wide EHS initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
