Job summary

HRsmart is seeking a Site Contract Administrator for an onsite role in the San Jose area. You will report to the Contracts Manager and Construction Manager, applying professional judgment to ensure contract compliance and successful project delivery on the BART extension program.

The role requires strong knowledge of contract administration, risk management, procurement, and regulatory adherence, with the ability to work with senior managers, client executives, and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Specialized courses or experience in pricing, contract law, negotiations, and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Implements the division of responsibilities matrix and standard work processes for Contract Administration.
• Administers contract progress, providing management with information on financial or technical risks.
• Coordinates with staff on activities affecting contract rights, obligations, and performance.
• Negotiates and administers moderately complex contract changes with contractor and customer personnel.
• Represents customer in moderate-complexity contractual discussions.
• Maintains information programs to ensure understanding of contract terms.
• Supports preparation of periodic status reports for management.
