Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, seeks an experienced Construction Administrator to join the Indianapolis team. This full-time, onsite role focuses on managing project specifications, contracting documents, and coordination with design teams and clients.

A pathway for professional growth exists within the firm, with standard Monday–Friday hours in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidate brings 5+ years in AEC specifications, CSI MasterFormat knowledge, and proficiency with spec editing tools and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience with specifications in the Architectural, Engineering or Construction field.
• CSI MasterFormat knowledge; CDT certification is a plus.
• Experience with MasterSpec, VisiSpec or SpecLink.
• Proficiency with Adobe/Bluebeam and Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with Newforma and Procore for project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain specification masters and templates.
• Coordinate specifications with multiple design team members.
• Review, format, and edit project specifications for accuracy.
• Provide office-wide support for specification needs.
• Coordinate bid documents, schedules, and addenda for Prime projects.
• Ensure contract language compliance and current code details.
• Distribute design documents to review agencies; manage project logs.
