Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Connected Solutions Technician to ensure critical healthcare technologies operate reliably and support patient care. The role involves troubleshooting electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic medical equipment, and maintaining networked systems on-site at multiple hospital environments and service centers.

The position requires 5+ years in servicing medical devices, a valid driver’s license, and an associate degree or technical certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience servicing medical devices.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and networked systems.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, including TCP/IP and connected device environments.
• Experience with PoE switches, servers and connected systems.
• DOT driver license requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic medical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with network-connected devices, including servers and PoE switches.
• Maintain and configure computer and network equipment post-install.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance and service schedules across assigned customers.
• Perform in-field depot-level repairs on internal mechanical and electrical components.
• Utilize OEM service documentation for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support product installations, system implementations, and configuration activities.
• Participate in on-call service support as scheduled.
