Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in the United States is seeking a Connected Solutions Technician to ensure medical devices and connected care platforms operate reliably, supporting clinicians in delivering safe patient care.

This role requires 5+ years hands-on experience servicing medical devices, expertise with networked systems and PoE switches, and a valid driver's license. The position is onsite with a 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM shift, five days per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience servicing medical devices.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and networked systems.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and connected device environments.
• Experience troubleshooting PoE switches, servers, and connected systems.
• Associate degree or technical/trade certification in a related field preferred.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, MCSE, or MCSA preferred.
• Experience working with FDA-regulated medical devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic medical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with network-connected devices, including servers and PoE switches.
• Maintain and configure computer and network equipment post-install (systems, peripherals, configurations).
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance and service schedules across assigned customers.
• Perform in-field depot-level repairs on internal mechanical and electrical components.
• Utilize OEM service documentation for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support product installations, system implementations, and configuration activities.
• Participate in on-call service support as scheduled.
