Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician II to ensure patient-ready medical devices across rental and customer-owned products. You will perform cleaning, disinfection, functionality checks, and minor repairs, contributing to Baxter’s mission to save and sustain lives.

The role requires troubleshooting electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, on-call availability, and safe operation of service vehicles, supporting hospitals and centers with timely service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on assigned products.
• Troubleshoot devices and repair malfunctioning components.
• Use the appropriate tools to make adjustments and repairs.
• Provide on-call coverage up to 24/7 including weekends and holidays.
• Load, unload, and move medical products up to 1,680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities under service contracts.
• Safely operate box trucks from cargo vans to 26,000 pound trucks.
