Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Nashville, TN seeks a Project Engineer - Concrete Self Perform to support on-site construction activities, manage self-perform work, and assist with QA/QC and safety programs.

This role involves coordinating with field teams, reviewing drawings, tracking progress, and helping prepare schedules and cost data while applying Lean principles.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's in CM/engineering and offer 2+ years of construction experience; relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 2+ years construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety and quality plans and culture with commitment to injury-free environment.
• Participates in QA/QC planning to ensure quality for assigned tasks.
• Learns estimating and change management processes including quantity take-off and subcontractor proposals.
• Works on site with the project team to support monitoring crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Participates in punch lists, inspections, safety reviews and documentation.
• Prepares and disseminates required project documentation and reports.
