Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Quality Specialist to monitor and coordinate the project quality program on our Nashville projects. You will review documents, attend meetings, conduct site inspections and investigate non-compliant conditions to support our safety and quality strategy.

The role requires 5+ years of construction quality experience, a related Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to work non-traditional hours with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years of construction quality-related experience.
• Valid driver's license; able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours and travel.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in all aspects of the company’s safety and quality plans and culture by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment.
• Participates in the project specific quality plan, project specific water intrusion plan, and project quality status report.
• Ensures that comprehensive documentation of quality assurance processes, test results and corrective actions taken.
• Collaborates with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials.
• Gains knowledge of design documents to identify potential quality problems and assist in constructability review reports.
• Develops comprehension of how to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Attends pre-planning, pre-installation and progress meetings.
• Conducts regular walk-through observations of construction sites to ensure compliance with the contract documents.
